It’s official, the trialing of the app has started, with the first users having received training on how to use the app at four training sessions held in our trial zones:
- Philippi and Khayelitsha (Western Cape), 5 Sept.
- Stanford and surrounds (Western Cape), 6 Sept.
- Grahamstown and surrounds (Eastern Cape), 7 Sept.
- Raymond Mhlaba (Eastern Cape), 7 Sept.
Users were introduced to the app, and shown how it will work and their role in the trial. They also had the opportunity to meet our research team who’ll be carrying out interviews with users over the course of the project to ensure that we develop an app that is well used and functional for the users.
This is just the beginning, and we’d welcome others to register and use the app, particularly in our four trial regions. If you would like to participate, please email info@foodforus.co.za.
